The 48-hour policy
Updated October 2026 · 2 min read
The clock starts at approval
The 48-hour period starts when a reward is approved, not when you first submit the request. The policy concerns initiation of the approved reward. It is not a promise that every request will be approved, or that the reward will reach you within 48 hours of submission.
The separate request-review policy is within 24 hours of submission. After initiation, the payment provider or blockchain network has its own settlement process. Those stages should not be combined into a single guaranteed receipt time.
The late-initiation credit
If an approved reward is initiated outside the covered 48-hour period, $1,000 is added to that reward. The policy provides one credit per request. It is not a repeating hourly or daily credit, and it does not create a reward where a request was never eligible or approved.
| Event | Effect on this policy |
|---|---|
| Request submitted | Starts request review; does not start the approval-to-initiation clock. |
| Récompense approuvée | Starts the 48-hour initiation clock. |
| Récompense initiée | Completes the initiation step; provider settlement remains separate. |

Exclusions
- Identity verification is not complete.
- A payment-provider or blockchain network outage beyond MultiFunded's control.
- The request is under active rule-breach review.
These exclusions are part of the policy, so a delay does not automatically establish credit eligibility. Identity verification is normally completed once, before the first reward. A request under active review is not the same as a fully approved reward awaiting covered initiation.
Checking a delayed request
Use the request reference and the recorded approval and initiation statuses when asking support to check a delay. State whether you are asking about review, initiation or provider receipt. A wallet balance alone does not identify which stage is responsible for the delay.
Keep the dashboard record and any request-specific notices. Ask whether an exclusion applies and which timing information supports the status. Do not post private payment details or identity documents in public community channels. The operative wording is also available in the reward terms.
